Job Title: Service Support Specialist

 

Location: Ottawa, ON (On-site, Full-Time, Rotational Schedule)

We are currently hiring for an existing Service Support Specialist role.

​

Role Overview

 

As a Service Support Specialist, you’ll provide frontline support to Enerfrog’s clients, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, prompt issue resolution, and a positive customer experience. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.

​

Salary Range: $45,000 – $62,000 per year ($21.63 – $29.78/hour) depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

 

Customer Support & Service Delivery

​

  • Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries, service requests, and troubleshooting needs.

  • Provide remote monitoring and diagnostics for building automation, HVAC systems, and facility management services.

  • Support facility operations by coordinating maintenance activities, scheduling technicians, and ensuring service follow-ups are completed.

  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or the Support Manager as required.

  • Ensure clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams.

Operational Support

​

  • Assist in scheduling, dispatching, and tracking service activities.

  • Manage service tickets, track progress, and ensure timely closure in line with service level agreements.

  • Log, update, and close service tickets according to company procedures.

  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively.

​

Continuous Improvement

​

  • Document recurring issues and contribute to refining troubleshooting procedures.

  • Support onboarding of new clients and service processes.

  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical knowledge and service quality.

​

Qualifications

​

  • Post-secondary diploma, technical certification, or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years in a customer service or service coordination role (facility maintenance or HVAC/BAS experience an asset).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual (English/French) preferred.

  • Familiarity with building automation, HVAC, or facility monitoring systems is an advantage.

  • Comfortable using computer-based tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or MMS platforms).

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Must be able to pass a standard security clearance background check.
